Tracy Kristoff, LMFT
Tracy Kristoff is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Play Therapist who has been working with children and families since 1998 in a variety of settings. She began her counseling career as a Pastoral Minister at Covenant House Florida working with at-risk youth. Tracy obtained her Master of Arts degree in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary (currently Fresno Pacific University) in 2010. After graduating, she focused her energy on learning how trauma impacts attachment in the family systems. She attended the West Coast Gestalt Institute for Play Therapy to develop a foundation for her work with children and families. Her focus has been on helping families reconnect during confusing life events. Additionally, she has helped victims of sexual abuse (children and adults) become thriving members in their families and communities. Tracy is trained in TherapyPlay, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
