Who We Are

Meet Our Staff

Jenny Bailey, MA

Jenny Bailey, MA

Jenny Janes Bailey (she/her), MA, is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern at Lutheran Counseling Services. Jenny was born and raised in Michigan and has now been enjoying the sun and fun that Florida has to offer since 2012. She completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College in 2021 and is a United States Navy Veteran.

Jenny believes in a therapeutic practice centered on exploring cycles of discomfort and unfamiliarity that stem from life’s complexities, which often leave us feeling overwhelmed, lost, or stuck. She focuses on helping clients learn more about themselves and the world around them through targeted and meaningful problem exploration, goal setting, and skill-building. Sessions are tailored to each person individually, as Jenny works collaboratively with her clients to identify the treatment and care that best suits their needs.

Jenny works with individual clients 18 and older and couples, while holding a Gottman Level I certification. Whether you are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, living on the spectrum, recently lost a loved one, looking to clarify your values or identity, change career paths, learn how to set boundaries, parent better, partner better, or are a trauma survivor, Jenny would love to explore what support looks like for you. She maintains a safe space for all clients of all faiths and belief systems and is allied with the active-duty military, blind, chronic health, chronic pain, LGBTQ+, little people, neurodivergence, racial justice, sex-positive, single parent, and veteran communities.
