Lynn Betts, MSW
Lynn Betts is a registered clinical social work intern who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, hope, and resilience. She earned her Master of Social Work from the University of West Florida and brings a diverse background in education, behavioral health, and group facilitation to her clinical work.
Before becoming a therapist, Lynn worked as an elementary school teacher, where she developed a deep appreciation for supporting children's emotional, social, and academic growth. Her experience as an educator, combined with her work facilitating therapeutic groups for children, adolescents, and young adults, allows her to connect with clients in meaningful and engaging ways.
Lynn takes a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to counseling and strives to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered. She believes healing begins through authentic relationships and enjoys helping individuals build healthy coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and discover hope during difficult seasons of life.
Outside of her professional role, Lynn enjoys spending time with her daughter, exploring new places and food, and investing in personal growth. She is committed to walking alongside clients with empathy, encouragement, and respect as they work toward healing and lasting change.
