Morgan Fenton
Morgan is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern working with Lutheran Counseling Services at Lake Forrest Preparatory School. She believes that counseling is a collaborative space where people can feel understood, develop greater self-awareness, and create meaningful change. Morgan approaches counseling with curiosity, warmth, and genuine compassion, meeting each client where they are and working together to understand the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that shape their lives.
Morgan draws from cognitive-behavioral, existential, and person-centered approaches, tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs and goals. She is particularly interested in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, identity development, relationship concerns, life transitions, and questions surrounding meaning and purpose.
At the heart of Morgan’s approach is the belief that people are more than their symptoms or struggles. She strives to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe to be authentic, explore difficult experiences without judgment, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. Morgan views therapy as an opportunity to cultivate greater self-compassion, agency, and a life that feels meaningful and authentic.
Outside of counseling, Morgan loves having long-winded chats with friends at coffee shops, going to Pilates, and making a mess out of her spontaneous DIY crafts. She enjoys finding creativity and connection in everyday life and believes that some of the best moments are often the ones shared with others.
