Colleen Labbadia
Colleen Labbadia comes to Lutheran Counseling Services after serving almost a decade in the Orange County Public Schools system. As a teacher and professional school counselor, Colleen spent much of her time making connections and creating a safe and welcoming environment for students. She was dedicated to helping all her students work through the various emotions and circumstances they were experiencing. Helping students find the best qualities within themselves and others has always been very rewarding for Colleen. She has a passion for working with children and adolescents and continually works to ensure that each of her students accomplishes their goals. Through a hands-on, play-based approach, Colleen is highly focused on assisting each student’s needs intentionally and individually.
After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Boston, Colleen returned to Florida and earned her Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She enjoys spending time with her husband and children in her free time and can usually be found making new and fun memories! Her family also contributes as much of their time as they can to charitable service activities.
