Erika Sickles, MA, LMHC

Erika Sickles, LMHC joined LCS in 2017 after working as a guidance counselor in the Florida public school system and teaching psychology courses at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. As a counselor, Erika strives to help each person she works with to realize their full potential and accomplish their goals. Using creative outlets, a strengths focus, collaboration and nonjudgmental curiosity, she sees the best qualities in others and helps them to see these in themselves and expound upon them to reach their full potential. Tailoring counseling sessions to meet each client's individual needs, Erika is influenced by solution-focused brief therapy, play therapy, sandtray therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and many other therapeutic approaches. 

Erika works with children, adolescents and adults of all ages on topics ranging from anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, family changes, educational/work issues, and other life challenges.  Counseling sessions are collaborative, recognizing each person's unique gifts and challenges. Earning her Bachelors and Master’s degrees from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, Erika enjoys swimming, cooking, crafting, reading, and traveling to new places with her husband and children.
