James DeMark, LMHC
Jim DeMark is a licensed mental health counselor and was previously the Director of Utilization Management for Community Based Care of Central Florida. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Dave’s House which provides permanent housing for adults with severe mental illness and the Turning Point which provides mental health and substance abuse services for those in need. Jim is a Council of Accreditation (COA) Peer Reviewer and consultant for agencies seeking to become accredited with either COA or CARF (Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Services). Jim has served on multiple regional, state and national groups and has been a participant in local agencies and organizations seeking to enhance the counseling profession. Jim received his Bachelors of Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, his Masters of Counselor Education from Florida Atlantic University and completed two additional years of graduate work in Counselor Education at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
