Diana Griffith, MSW
Diana is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with LCS. She believes that everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe, and where their experiences will be heard and validated. In her practice, Diana works to empower her clients by using a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and person-in-environment framework to help her clients identify their strengths, challenges, and any barriers they may face that can cause mental health struggles. She has counseling experience with individuals, families, and skills groups, and she has worked in school, geriatric, and in-home service environments. Diana is passionate about helping people who struggle with body image issues due to living in fat, disabled, queer, or otherwise marginalized bodies. She also has a special interest in working with neurodivergent children, adults, and their families to help them identify, understand, accept, and advocate for their needs.
Diana graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from Tulane University, with an additional focus on Mental Health, Addiction, and Families. Before entering the mental healthcare field, Diana worked as a business and branding consultant helping small business owners understand and enhance business processes. In her free time, Diana enjoys creative pursuits such as writing or painting, or connecting to nature by spending time outside where she can refresh and recharge. She has worked in the Orlando community to advocate for the importance of art, creative expression, and how these relate to mental wellbeing.
