Meet Our Staff

Oran James

Oran James

Oran is currently a Practicum graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at the University of the Cumberlands, where he is focusing on individual, marriage, and family therapies. He is gaining practical experience in the field and working towards becoming a licensed mental health counselor. Oran utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in his practice and is also exploring Narrative Therapy, which empowers clients to share their stories and reframe them into healthier narratives for the future.

As a father of four children, including three adult children—a daughter and twin sons—and a recently adopted four-year-old girl, Oran understands the complexities of family dynamics. His life experiences and commitment to personal growth fuel his passion for helping individuals and families navigate their challenges. Oran is dedicated to providing a safe space for his clients to explore their thoughts and emotions and to support them in their journey toward healing and positive change.
